About Me/Playlist

Hello Everyone,

My name is Felix Moronta.  I am a simple kid from Queens who hangs out with friends, plays basketball, go on spontaneous adventures, and listen to music on my free time.   I love listening to music that paint pictures, show emotion, and have lyrics that grasps my attention the first time I listen to them. My preference is mostly Rap and Hip-Hop, and Old School Hip-Hop and R&B, but i do listen to all musical genres from Pop to Rock. The musical playlist I created has all my favorite songs and also show who I am. All songs have a personal connection to me, from my rebellious behavior shown in F*cking Problems by A$AP Rocky, to my sensitive side as shown in Suffocate by J. Holiday. In the playlist I also included some Spanish songs ranging in genres; from Spanish Soft Rock to Salsa and Bachata. Those are  the genres that I listened and danced to when growing up.

I literally have a song for any mood I may be feeling at any particular moment.  For example, when I’m driving and am alone I like to listen to Don’t You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia or some Britney Spears. Don’t judge me. I also love to enjoy moments that induce nostalgia which is why I always listen to Old-School musical artists such as Slim Shady and Pretty Ricky. To me, music is more than just words spoken in a rhythm on an instrumental. Music is a way to escape to a place where no one can judge you, even though me listening to Britney Spears might be cause for judgement, but nevertheless there is a musical genre for everyone to get lost in and just forget the world’s problem for a while.  Music molded me into who I am today; a free-spirited, open-minded , happy, music and party loving, sensitive kid.  Have a great day, afternoon, or evening everyone.

My Musical Playlist. 😀 Enjoy!

Your playlist sounds awesome! It’s amazing to find a song that you personally have a connection with. You’re very passionate about music; have you ever thought of studying Management of Musical Enterprises within Baruch?
No one will judge you for listening to Britney. More like the people who haven’t listened to Britney will be judged!
