Hello LC11, in case you don’t know who I am, my name is Lauren Chai. I created this small clip for you guys to see who I am when you really get to know me. I started the video with faces of myself; I make a lot of silly faces because I can’t take “nice” pictures. I love to smile and laugh. The 2nd picture shows my love for art; I like graphic design the most and I started graphic design since the beginning of high school, but then stopped because my photoshop got erased. The 3rd picture shows that I love to travel and I only been to only a few places. I plan to study abroad in the future college years. I love eating desserts because they make me happy whenever. I will love to travel around the world and eat dessert. I enjoy spending time with my friends and making memorable memories. I absolutely love super heroes movies (like the Avengers), comedy shows, drama shows and korean dramas. My brother and I love to play video games together. I am better at fighting games and my brother is better in sports games. In my room, there are pictures of my family members from New York, Canada, and China; I love them to death! Last, but not least, I love to shop. Even if I can’t afford the things, I feel semi-satisfied just looking at them. Well, that’s me. 🙂

This is an eight image slideshow of some of the best moments in my life thus far. I have had great experiences and these photos are just a few moments that I treasure the most. I love fashion, dancing, having fun and just living for every moment that I am apart of. I graduated from high school in June 2013. In my senior year alone, I have had the most smiles that I have had in long time. When I work hard, I focus on my work and I try to do the best job that I can. When my senior year came, I was determined to have fun and live for each moment. From the fun times with my family to my prom and graduation ceremony, I absorbed it all and enjoyed the moments. My valedictorian plaque holds so much meaning to me. It shows what hard work and dedication can get you. The dance picture signifies where my passion comes from. When I dance, I speak. It is my secret language. The two flags of Guyana and Trinidad, represents my culture and where my heritage stems from.  The memory verse from Philippians 4:13 is my favorite verse in the Bible. I am a young Christian and that verse gives me hope, strength and assurance. The quote in the last picture is the perfect description of who I am. I am far from perfect. I am full of madness and craziness, but my personality is never boring, but it is just me. When I am not crazy and having fun, I am very quite, laid back and in deep thought. All of this makes up who Ashlee is. In the collages, my family, friends and my favorite picture perfect moments are highlighted. I have two great friends that I just met, Vanessa and Angela. With new beginnings, comes new friends who probably will be there for a lifetime. My best friends are the people I run to for support and this makes them a huge part of my life. My family is EVERYTHING to me. They support me through everything and for that I am thankful. Life to me is all about enjoying each moment. I am doing that. As I embark on this new journey at Baruch, I hope to have tons of pictures signifying my experience here. I am just thankful for life. I am truly blessed.
