My name is Susan Ngo. I was born and raised in New York City. Some of my hobbies include swimming, drawing, and eating. I am one of the many students in Baruch that went to Brooklyn Tech. During high school, I didn’t get involved in many clubs or sports, however, the Red Cross club became my second family. At first, I joined the club to get credits and service hours, but eventually, volunteering with my friends became something that I really enjoyed.
My parents have backgrounds in China and Vietnam so we speak a wide range of languages in my household. I’m an only child, but since my parents have eight siblings each, I have a very big family to make up for it. Family is very important to me; I don’t know what I would do without them. Most of my family members live in New York and California, but I have relatives in Australia, Sweden, and back in Vietnam as well. Due to school and work, I don’t get to see them very often. One of my goals in life is to travel the world and experience all the different types of cuisines when I get the chance.
