I hope the title is obnoxious enough to distract everyone from the madness of the following description of this weirdo, Marium Sarder.
The task of introducing myself has haunted me (and everyone else, I’m sure) since I was a wee little lass. It was hard in second grade, and it’s hard now. I suppose I should start with my name (for the third time): Marium Sarder. I like strolls in the park, the chirping of birds in the morning, the color yellow, and making origami.
Just kidding. I hate walking in the park, the sound birds in the mornings, yellow, and don’t even get me started on origami. Whenever I walk in parks I manage to step into something unsavory. Whether it’s puppy excrement or a sad piece of hotdog I will most likely step in it. I admire anyone that can tolerate birds in the morning, because every bird in my neighborhood knows I don’t. Yellow is the most painful color to look at. Don’t get me wrong some people look incredible in yellow, but for some reason my eyes refuse to acknowledge yellow as a wonderful member of the rainbow family. And origami. Oh, origami, how I hate you so. You refuse to bend to my will and never fold the right way. You mock me with your crooked lines and shapeless body. Why must you cut me so deep with your sharp edges? We will never be friends, and I will never love you.
Wellllllll, on that note here’s my playlist folks! The playlist will be down below, but I feel like I should stop beating around the bush and ranting about origami to let you all in on the one thing you really need to know about me: I think I am a seven-year-old child stuck in an eighteen-year-old’s body. I hope it’s clear to everyone that I love humor, it’s quite possibly the one thing I will always need in my life. Family, you ask? Who needs them when you have jokes?! (jk, love you mom. heh.) I love the simple things in life, like Cheerios and old Disney movies. Half of my playlist will make my love for old Disney quite apparent, but the second half of the list is music that makes me feel like being the best version of myself. Did that last bit sound as cheesy as I think it did? In a less cliche filled statement, my playlist is a musical progression of lil’ Marium to big Marium.
