Transportation is the topic our group’s New York Times project. We chose the topic of transportation because we realized that the transportation system plays an important role in our every day life, especially for the people who live in New York City. People in New York City travel or commute by train, subway, bus, and taxi a lot comparing to other cities and regions. In the way, we could see that transportation is very significant for us an has big impact on people’s life style. For example, the students from Baruch College are from different boroughs or even outside of New York City to commute to school, the transportation system would be so important to them. If there is something wrong within the transportation, students might be late for their classes or miss the exams.

Hi everyone! I am Yidong from China, you could call me Mike if you don’t know how to pronounce my name. I am from a city named SHENZHEN in China, a very crowed modern city whose population is rated above the top 5 cities of the whole world. I like art and music. I started to do art since I was very little and I had participated in many many art competitions since I was six years old. I created a art book of my own named “iArt” which contains most of the artwork I did that I feel most satisfied with. The art book contains many styles of art, including oil painting, sketches, color pencil work and my versions of the arts from Renaissance…….I am a music fan too. I love to sing and I write lyrics. Right now I am trying to learn music composition and music production. I am look forward to a career in the music industry in the future. I listened to all kinds of music from many sorts of language. My idol is Michael Jackson because he’s the best of all time lol Anyway, if any of you want to share some of your artwork or music please just talk to me and I will be glad to share mine too. Here’s a link of some of the pictures I like, just check it out.
