Florence Moses

Hey guys; my name is Florence Moses but most people call me Flo. These images symbolize the things that I value in life. I’m an avid romantic novel reader; well I used to be when I had the time. Reading a novel is an outlet to me. It is an escape from an evil world to a virtuous world. Reading is the only way of releasing all of my deep emotions which include frustration, anger, and sadness. I also love to dance whether it’s Hip pop, Afro pop or traditional Ghanaian dances. The people in the fourth image are doing a dance called “Adowa”. It’s a beautiful dance that originated from Ghana. Even though I’m not really good at it; I try to make it look good whenever I do it; it’s performed at festivals and special occasions.

I love babies! I know that sounds very silly but I do. Babies are so tiny, cute, and adorable. My dream is to become an obstetrician so I can hold those tiny creatures every day of my life. I would describe myself as a family-oriented person. I love my mom and my sisters; even though they don’t know it; and that is my fault because I never told them. It’s going to be hard to move away from home, when the time comes for me to start a new chapter of my life. Another fact about me is that I’m very indecisive. I’m always stuck between two decisions. So often times, I ask others for their opinion which sometimes isn’t in my best interests. I’m a believer and so God is a big part of my life. The Last image is of a symbol known as “Gye Nyame” which translates to English as “except for God.” It represents two of the attributes of God which are Omnipotence and omnipresence; so fear no one except God.

I think it’s great that you’re so family oriented, and I totally understand loving to dance because I’ve been dancing as long as I can remember and it’s one of my favorite things to do.
