Lauren Hill’s Mystery of Inequity is a song that once I first heard it, it stuck with me. What is so significant is the informative message within the song. Basically Hill is telling the listener to be truthful with oneself because no one is truly going to be honest with you. This song speaks to who I am because it acknowledges the corruption within this generation and I also personally believe this generation is corrupted. NAS’ I Know I Can is a song i first heard when I was about 10 years old, ever since then it has been every playlist I ever created. This song is motivation, when I am down and unsure of myself, I listen to this song and remember that anything is possible, with hard work of course. Hard Knock Life is evidence that no matter the circumstances I can still prevail and anything is possible. Migos’ Just Wait on It is a song that exudes the message to let actions speak, words are only worth so much. If you want to know what the future holds, “…just wait on it”. The general message of Tuesday is, regardless of what day of the week it is, you can still have fun. About the money is a song that stresses the significance of success; Money is symbolic of success, “if it ain’t about the money” why are we conversing? Life is not all about money but if you are not a regular figure in my life do not excessively contact me unless we are discussing a way to advance ourselves.
