Freshman year in college is quite the experience. What a difference from senior year in high school. The freedom and independence everyone talks about pulls you in and makes you want to experience college. Yet the endless amounts of work, non-stop quizzes, and sleepless nights no one mentions deters you and makes you scared. No one said it would be easy, but being only the second person in my family to go to college is motivation. My family envisioned the “American Dream” for me, yet were unable to show me how to achieve it; education is the direct path to that Dream and never has the motivation been stronger to succeed.
