Fro Picture Project

Untitled

For my picture presentation, I have chosen to include pictures that not just spoke to me but have been a part of my life in one way or another. The first picture that I included is a cup of coffee, particularly a Starbucks cup of coffee. The reason that I have included this picture is not just because I am a fan of their coffee in general, but for the fact that Starbucks has always been a familiar place no matter where I am. No matter how far away from home I know I can expect a familiar grande macchiato and free wifi! This relates to another picture that I have posted about travel and road trips, I come from a family of weekend adventurers, ever since I was a little girl my family left behind the city and travelled as far as we could in a weekend. The furthest we ever made it was Ontario all in one three day weekend. This also translates to more vacations, my summers have always been filled to the brim with road trips not just with my family but also friends. Traveling has always been close to my heart wether it be hiking up Mount Meron in Israel to getting questioned at the border of Nicaragua and Costa Rica when our tour bus ran out of gas,one things for sure its never boring. The following picture is of horse back riding, I have been riding western for almost 10 years, and I definitely recommend it. Horses have an amazing innate intelligence and love that has kept me coming back for more. The next set of pictures are of collections of antiques, artifacts, books and art.I come from a family of collectors, my family has been collecting art, antiques, artifacts and books for the last century. My family has been steadily acquiring new pieces to the collections, currently our home library has more than 2000 books, my mother boasts that she has read each one, I could honestly say that I have barely made a dent. As you can imagine my mother never really let me get away with being bored, she always said “read a book”. As a kid this was immensely annoying, but through time I have come to greatly appreciate books.

I love your pictures and your post! I really get a sense of who you are. I also went hiking in Israel and it was great! 🙂
