Subject Line: Question regarding MTH 2003 homework

I had some difficulty with question 10 on page 103 of the textbook. Specifically, I am unsure of which formula to use in this situation. How am I able to determine what the appropriate formula is? Thank you!

Hi Zouhare,
Good job at keeping the email brief and straight to the point, however, I think you could have used a much polite tone asking for help and don’t start with “dear” when writing to a professor (please read the blog). Also, make sure you indicate meeting days and time in your signature since many professors teach more than one section of the same subject.
