I had some difficulty understanding the directions for the quiz for tonight. Specifically, I was unsure of which chapter I should read for the quiz. Is it chapter 14 or chapter 15? Thank you!

Hi Amanda,
I like how you ended with thanking the professor. You do not want to start with “dear” when writing to a professor (please see the blog link). It seems like you are confused about what you need help with, assignment or chapter? Also, indicate the meeting days and time at the end so your professor is able to identify you easily since many professors teach more than one section of the same course.
