Subject Line: Question regarding Eng 2100 assignment

I have been working on my persuasive essay that is due on October 2nd, and I have been having some difficulty writing about my topic of “Why you should be a vegetarian.” Do you have any suggestions on a direction I could take, or should I simply change my topic? Also, would you prefer MLA or APA format for the works cited page? Thank you for your time!
