My first semester is filled with discoveries, expectation, and anxiety. During the courses, I have found that many of the classes are the large volume of reading and writing with SHORT deadlines. I start to miss my high school years since I am experiencing seemingly endless nights of studying and writing for my upcoming finals and 10 papers deadline. However, one thing best is about new diverse college friendships.

I don’t like to wake up in the earlier morning, and the alarms are so annoying. However, these are my perspective for now. One day, things that wakes me up, is my dream, not the alarm. I believe.

Hi, my name is Huan, an eighteen years old girl who just graduated from Francis Lewis High School in Queens, NY. I believed that the assignment of creating an eight images slideshow, which describes yourself well could be very easy; therefore, I start it at last due day, which is today. However, when I sat in front of my computer and took out my Iphone starting to choose pictures, I just realize that it was not an easy assignment. In addition, when I look at the Camera Roll from my Iphone, there are 1,398 pictures. Each one of them are the important memories; each moment means unforgettable to me. It is very hard for me to pick only 8 images, that’s not enough! First, the picture is Francis Lewis High School. I stepped into this high school as a freshman, and graduated from here. In fact, 4 years of life had change me a lot. For example, I learned how to communicate and make friendship. I believe that it is very difficult for all of us because we are all stranger to each other at the beginning of high school year; after we got to know each other and turn to best friends in our life, it is the moment of parting. Second, it is my sibling, an older brother who is five years older than me. Even though we are five years apart, we are close to each other. Third, I am very dexterous. Rose is my favorite thing to make. It is what I made for mother’s day. Fourth, I love to travel around the world. I had been to the Paris half years ago. It is a night view of Eiffel tower, and it is very different from the day sight. Also, the next picture is the real “Little Mermaid” which I only saw from the fairy tales at Copenhagen Fifth, I love movies. The ticket that I am showing is “Transf4”. Sixth, I am very addictive to eat and try new things. Unbelievable, isn’t it? picture 6 is desserts at Spot Dessert which is located near the New York University at Manhattan, and another one is from Caffeine Fix. Seventh, I love kids. The picture is from my previous job experience. Indeed, I love to spend time with little kids because they have very differ perspective as what we have, and they always surprise me. However, I quitted my job as their tutor because of my schedule. I miss them very much. Although I found another job at the medical office, I visit them sometime. The last picture is very familiar to all of us. Why? It is the picture that my friend’s parents took it on the Graduation Day. Pictures, turn moments into memories. That would be the moment which are unforgettable to all of us. Does not matter we are graduating from college, getting to job, getting marry, or having a family. When we take out our Iphone and click into the Camera Roll, all the memories will come out of our mind. However, I am running late to my work, so see you guys soon. Bye. ^^
