This year I had promised myself to not procrastinate on my class assignments or projects but that was an utter failure. I ended up procrastinating my projects and had to put up with a huge work load that was not meant to be. Doing projects last minute was not the way to go. This first semester as a freshman at Baruch, I learned that managing your time efficiently and doing the most out of the time you have is essential to one’s success. Starting next semester, I hope that I can be true to myself and not push things to the last minute and do things before they are due and be prepared for a presentation of a project or getting things in before the deadline in order to manage my time so that I can do other things instead of having to cram and procrastinate all my homework and/or projects. Being a Baruch freshman has been a wake up call to start getting my sh** together and finish what needs to be done or I’m doing to fall behind.

Your reflection is so accurate. You learn from your mistakes. I hope that next semester will be easier for you in terms of doing projects early rather than later to relieve your stress. 🙂

I like the meme. I can definitely relate as I am also a big procrastinator and I agree that managing your time is so important.
