These links describe what is important to me in my life: soccer, my friends, my family, my girlfriend and screwing around with my friends. Soccer is one of the most important because its been in my life since i was born. I have been playing since the age of 3 and I am currently on the Baruch soccer team. It gives me a purpose to life in some way because its always there for me when i need it. I can always walk down to the field and kick a ball around and forget all my troubles. Obviously family is a huge part of my life because of how much they do for me and how they have made me into the person I am today. I can never thank them enough for all they have done for me. Since 7th grade I have always had a girlfriend and have rarely been single. I have always preferred a relationship over being single. As crazy as some of you may think I am for it, It makes me happy and a better person especially with my current girlfriend. We have tons of fun together and really enjoy each others company. Hopefully, we will not break up during winter break. As for my friends, we are the biggest idiots ever but we also have the most fun. Whenever me and my best friend are together, we are usually causing mischief and laughing so hard it hurts.

1# For Your Precious Love- Otis Redding
If you know these 11 songs then you understand that there is no need for a 500 word explanation as to why they are so great in my eyes. At this point you can kind of guess I’m a bit of a romantic, yes, it’s true. #10 Is my favorite french song simply because I love Jane Birkin’s voice. #9, well because Phil Collins is awesome and this is his best song. #8 and #7 kind of go together in that they remind me of high school and middle school summers. #6, come on. #5 is one of those that makes me wish love were an easier endeavor. #4 is a song I first heard in a scene in Zombieland, the movie. It was heart touching. #3 seems pretty fitting now that I’m in college in NYC. It speaks to the solemnity and loneliness that’s seen everyday on these busy streets.#2 is a classic and one which I can imagine myself singing to a beautiful women in a mid-century styled bar wearing a black suit and skinny tie. And as for #1… What can I say? Its the story of how important true love is to someone and how it means more than anything in the world. It’s a story told by the one and only Otis Redding; a man who captivated many hearts and died too young.
My Instagram is my Life

My Instagram feed basically defines who I am. (and showcase my wanna-be photography skills). It may be the most twenty-first century statement I’ve ever made, but it’s the truth. My life revolves around my family, friends, and my passion for nature and travel. While it was difficult to pick my favorite pictures (since I currently have 1,198 images on the app) these 30 something pictures sum up who I am.
I love to travel. I believe that it is the best way to learn. There is nothing greater than first-hand experience of the world’s diverse cultures. I’ve traveled to 31 US States and 12 countries in the past 7 years I’ve lived in the United States. My favorite US states are California, Maine and Montana. I spent six weeks in Maine and Montana for a cultural immersion, wilderness expedition and leadership summer camp which totally transformed me into a confident, outspoken and creative person. My time at these camps made me appreciate my life more as I was only given the bare essentials of life. It also made me appreciate the inner strength I possess as backpacking with a 40-pound backpack for over 60 miles is an Everest of any physical activities I’ve ever experienced.
My family and friends are the center of my life. As shown in these pictures, I always enjoy the company of others. I admire open communication and creating relationships with others. My favorite moments in my life has been with others, and a big part of my happiness comes from seeing others happy.
If you’re interested in getting to know me more, my life, my friends, and my adventures, I’m shamelessly marketing my instagram: @jezzryclopedia. Follow me! Or not. It’s a free country. Warning: I post a lot of pictures. Like every fricking day. Also, my snapchat is @jez_rel. My stories are like 300 seconds long.

The things I enjoy doing the most as a hobbie/in my free time would include playing LoL, tennis and guitar. I’m someone that, despite many people, enjoy math and science. Math because the solutions couldn’t be more straight forward, and Science because of the many theories and interesting things about it. Since I go to Baruch, I have been commuting the days that I have classes. Besides the commute, I really enjoy the time that I spend here in and out of school. However, I didn’t always enjoy being in the city. I found it noisy, some areas reek of garbage, and I just had a hard time finding my way around. But as I started to come to the city 4 days a week for school, I began to enjoy my time here; Due to the many things that you can do in your free time. Later in my life, after I graduate from undergrad, I hope to be accepted into Med school and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.

Badminton has been a huge part of my life for a long time, it helped me get through a lot of hardships when I was stressed out and having difficulties in life. I learned a lot through badminton and it helped me gain a lot beneficial friends, that often give me helpful tips and patient with me on court. Throughout my life I find myself being a really compassionate person, often times when I’m walking down the blocks in New York City and see homeless people along the side, it breaks my heart and I tend to get super emotional. I’m also a huge foodie, I love going around exploring and trying new foods, when I discover a new food place I get super excited and wants to introduce all my close friends to it. My background makes up a huge part of who I am today, moving from China to the United States, and now residing in New York, allows me to be able to comfortably communicate with people from two different cultures. Although I’m pretty petite I’m not ashamed of it, instead I think I’m special and different from others who have more of an average height. However, shopping for clothes can be a bit difficult sometimes. And lastly, I’m generally an optimistic person and loves the sunshine.

The images above are some of the things that relate to who I am. Watching Marvel and DC movies has always been my favorite hobby. My favorite movies so far from Marvel are Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider man. Since I was little I was always a fan of comic book heroes. From DC comics, my favorite superhero is Batman. The reason that Batman is my favorite is because he has a genius-level intellect, is the world’s greatest detective and can defeat any superhero who stands in his way. He is also has billions of dollars and owns a mansion, which is what makes him perfect as a human being. My other favorite superhero is Iron Man from Marvel. Just like Batman, Iron man became a superhero by using the technology he created in order to become a powerful superhero. The reason I love Iron man is because he started out as a an average human being, but set his goal to create the most advanced technology of his time(in the Marvel universe). The fact that Iron Man and Batman were once ordinary but rose to become extraordinary is what sets them apart as real superheroes. Unlike Superman or other superheroes with superpowers, these two fictional characters became real superheroes by molding themselves through years of mental and physical experience. I also included Spiderman because he also started out as an average human being and used his powers for good when he was given these amazing abilities no human ever had. Another pair of real superheroes are the Guardians of the Galaxy. My admiration for them also came from the fact that they were ordinary and transformed themselves into real superheroes. Although they started out as villains who were separate and wanted their own desires, they eventually become united as one and become an unstoppable force that served the greater good of everyone in the galaxy. Aside from the fact that I am a Marvel fanatic, I also enjoy watching TV shows such as The Big Bang Theory and Suits. I always had an incline towards business, which is why I find Suits so entertaining. The story revolves around two hotshot lawyers who work in one of the best firms in New York City called Pearson Hardman. One of the lawyers named Mike got kicked out of college but has a photographic memory and has passed the bar exam many times by taking it for other people(to make money). When the best lawyer in New York City comes across this college dropout, he hires him even though he does not have a single record of going to law school or even being a lawyer. I find this show intriguing because it shows the dynamic relationship between these two lawyers(well one lawyer and a fraud) and how they solve cases that make them the best at who they are. Another show that I find entertaining is The Big Bang Theory. This show is about a group of nerds at the institution named Caltech who have a series of unexpected and humorous situations that make it a great comedy. Some of the other things I also included in my post were two of my favorite cars; the Lamborghini Veneno and the BMW i8. Since I was young, I have always loved supercars since I was young and have always wanted to have one for myself. The fact that they look so bold and have amazing speeds makes me want one also. So that’s just a little about myself and some of the things I love that make me who I am.
Who I am
David Guetta- Play Hard ft. Ne-Yo, Akon
Fall Out Boy- Thnks fr th Mmrs
Panic! At The Disco- Nine in The Afternoon
Justin Timberlake- Not A Bad Thing
Kanye West- Stronger
Flo Rida- I Cry
Avicii- Levels
Skrillex- Cinema
The Killers- All These Things That I’ve Done
Linkin Park- What I’ve Done
All these songs hold a special place in my heart. I’ve been through many difficult parts in my life and these songs were the ones I listened to while going through these rough moments in my life. These songs pretty much describe the person that I am. The songs are all very different in terms of genre. These songs are very diverse from each other and that expresses my personality. I like to think that I have multiple personalities depending on who I am with. I’m a different person at school than when I’m with my friends, the contrast is like day and night. These songs show my different personalities.

Family – The word family means home, comfort, respect, love, and forever friendships. My family means the world to me. My family consists mostly of girls obviously because “Who runs the world? Girls!” We are all pretty close in age therefore we are extremely close and I don’t know where I would be without them.
New York City – New York is the city that never sleeps. I have lived here all my life and I don’t think that I could ever live any place else. The fast pace lifestyle, the many different cultures, the unending list of things you could do. No other place can compare.
Party – I wouldn’t say I’m a “party animal” but when there is a party I like to have a good time. I get this trait from my father, the ultimate life of the party.
Love for the Caribbean – I am of Guyanese decent. I love my culture from the music to the food and the people. One of the pictures in my slideshow is my favorite Caribbean artist. Through soca music I am able to let go, be myself, and relieve all my stress and responsibilities.
Baruch College – It was quite the journey to get into Baruch but as you can see all my hard work payed off. This has been my dream school since freshman year of high school. I am so grateful to be here and my goal is to be successful and make myself as well as my family proud.
Traveling – All throughout my life, my parents took me and my sister on countless vacations. I love the feeling of jet-setting to different places and being able to explore what different countries have to offer.
Love – I love, love. ❤
