I chose a picture of a group of people stacking their hands in order to represent the diversity and teamwork that I’ve experienced during my time so far at Baruch. My experience has been very pleasant, thus far, and I’ve met some extremely nice people. This picture, to me, represents the two most important things that I have enjoyed about the school, and learned more about. Because the students at Baruch primarily commute, I have met people of all different ethnicities, ages, backgrounds, countries, etc. While I grew up in a pretty diverse neighborhood, Baruch truly embodies what it means to be diverse. Meeting all of these people has helped me enjoy my experience all the more. This picture also represents to me, people coming together. The students at Baruch have been very welcoming and helpful. Whenever I have had a question or issue, someone has always been more than willing to answer it or help me. In my classes, I have had the ability to work in groups, and the dynamic between my peers and I have been extremely pleasant. I have grown as a student and as an individual. Overall, my time at Baruch has been very positive, and I am truly looking forward to next semester.
