For my Student Life event, I chose to go to the club fair. The fair had a ton of different clubs, and was a very engaging experience with all the members of different clubs trying to get you to join them. I saw many different clubs, though a lot of them did not interest me as much as others. One of the clubs I signed up for was the e-sports club because I love playing games and thought it was crazy that there was a club for almost everything that you could think of. With Michael, we went around different clubs and wrote down our contact information on the clubs that interested us. I believe that club life is important because it gives opportunities to students who have a hard time meeting people, and are able to meet new people with the same interests. Hopefully, by joining clubs I will be able to meet people who can expand my interests on certain topics and allow me to create connections that would not have been possible without the help of clubs.
