Coming into college from high school was a very tough transition for me. I had trouble making friends, figuring out what i want to do. So this past week was spring semester registration. I didn’t know what class i wanted to take or in which direction i wanted to go for my major. So i spoke to one of my new friends that i met this year and he told me to go to the academic advisement office. That was probably the best advice i got all year. I went there and it was a pleasure from the start. The advisors there are more than welcomed to help you out. With a smile on their faces they basically helped me make 3 different schedules each taking me in a different direction. They explained to me how each class you take will help you for a different field of interest. I walked out of that office feeling confident of what i am going to do in my next semester. Im really greatful for this department in Baruch.
