Career in Baruch

Going throughout different clubs in Baruch, I see different clubs such as accountaining clubs or finance clubs and even the LAW clubs. Searching through all these I don’t feel as if I belong to just one. What I believe is that I want to mix finance and LAW together. I believe this will be the correct action for me because I know I will find the way to use both career options to help me achieve my goals in the upcoming future. I understand this will take much time and dedication and I understand it wont be easy but it’s something I’m defiantly looking foward to.

Monologue

Once upon a time on a brisk winter night a legend was born. It was December 3rd 2004. That day my little brother was born. I would’ve never guessed that such a miracle was possible. My brother is a genius with a pure heart, without hatred or evil inside of him. It is always a pleasure talking to him or teaching him something. One thing that I understood is that he is my other half. Everything I lack he makes up for, everything he lacks I make up for. We complete each other in ways I never thought possible. Even that we are young now, we still work together and have major accomplishments. I know there will be unmeasurable success for us in the future.

Baruch spirit

I’ve never had much school spirit, especially not in high school. It’s either been that I never had time or that I was just not interested. Lately I feel different about Baruch, I’ve come to liking it more and more. I find myself wanting to go these clubs and getting interested into it. Theres this one club I’m specifically interested into. Its called DREAM Team, its a political club. I want to go check it out and get into. Also in my further years at Baruch i would like to be apart of Undergraduate Student Government. It’s something that I’m definitely looking forward too…

Chill spot

My experience in the game room was quite unique. I didn’t expect for a college to have a game room. There was a pool table, ping pong table, and other different interesting games. I had an interesting time making new friends and learning new tricks. The environment there is really chill and friendly. Of course on the low key people were playing for more than just the entertainment. I only spent about 40 minutes there which flew by faster than I would imagine. I would recommend this experience to everyone in Baruch, it’s defiantly something that I would do again. Enjoy– Davit Sahakyan
