Freshman Seminar Fall 17 BWB

Final Blog Post

With the first semester coming to an end, I have decided to take my talents to Binghamton University. I realized that I would like to go away and have a nice campus. I will be pursuing a major in accounting through their School of Management. The program they have is very fitting for me and I am excited that I will be apart of it. After speaking with many advisors I really know that this will be the school for me and the school that is going to help me get exactly where I want to be regarding my career. B good Baruch but ya boy is going to Bing. #BingBound #Binghamton2021 #CUNYtoSUNYRealQuick

William and Anita Newman Library

One day I was just chilling enjoying my break until I was reminded I had a paper due in English class in a few hours. Because I had Sociology in a few minutes I told myself I would go to the library after to type up my paper and print it out. So after Sociology I headed to the library and waited in a long line until a computer was free to use. It took forever to finally log in but once I did I started typing as fast as I could. Before you know it my paper was complete and I went to print it out and I even had a few minutes to spare before the class started. From this experience I knew the library was helpful if I ever needed to use a computer or even type up something quick again if need be.

Office of Undergraduate Admission

I was all ready to start college at Baruch and thought I got all necessary documents handed in to ensure I was all set when i got a few emails about my medical record. The emails I was getting were saying how i have not fully documented immunization against meningitis. They then went on to say that I would have a delinquency on my record and i will no longer be registered in my classes. So i knew this was important and had to get it taken care of immediately. One day during my break i went into the Office of Undergraduate Admission in the Newman Library Building and went right up to the Medical Records Unit. The woman working the desk said I just needed documentation proving I received immunization for meningitis which I brought with me. I simply handed it to her and she put it in my file and it was all taken care of. It was extremely easy and she was very helpful.
