LinkedIn

Recently I have attended a Starr Career Development center workshop for LinkedIn. The workshop focused on LinkedIn and how it was a valuable tool for people to network with others and connect with businesses. The workshop explains how LinkedIn works and how useful it can be. Although it was only one hour long it was full of information. LinkedIn is a way to connect to professionals, because resumes and such can be lost easily. LinkedIn also recommends jobs and resumes which can help benefit you. They taught me hope to make a good profile as it is similar to Facebook in several ways, such as the way you make connections is similar to the way you make friends on Facebook. The layout for both is also very similar. There were people of all ages their as I was surprised to see that the room was packed to the brim. I will definitely use LinkedIn in the future because it is a very important tool and is very helpful for my future.
