I attended an internship event for marketing called MAIP. At the event I was able to learn about a program for internships for marketing and heard about other people who were in the program. I learned about how some to apply for it and where the internships are. The event was through the marketing club and helped me find out more about internships. The event had a panel of Baruch students who had gotten internships through it and they gave information on what they did to get there internships. This event let me understand how to get an internship in marketing.

A few friends and I went to the Metropolitan Museum of art to see some of the exhibits. Together we went to the World War One exhibit that is there and saw a lot of pictures from the time. A lot of it was anti war paintings showing the destruction of war. There were pictures that showed before and after of some areas from the war areas completely destroyed. Some showed the countries of Europe fighting each other and others showed the battles. The exhibit was very interesting and I enjoyed it very much it showed how some people viewed the war.

I attended the general interest meeting for the ESA in Baruch’s vertical campus. The meeting was full of laughs and good times talking about video games. There were discussion of roles in games and people’s mains in Overwatch and League of Legends. I was able to go with Marcus, Anthony, and Alex. The people who ran the meeting seemed to enjoy what they do in the club and talked about the success of the club including the CSGO team which won a major tournament last year with a huge prize pool. They also talked about the committees that people could join and I was interested in joining the marketing committee. I enjoyed the meeting and the good times.
