On Saturday October 7th, I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with some friends. Surprisingly I haven’t been to this museum in about 10 years and it’s obviously better than I can remember. I only planned on visiting two exhibitions since it’s a very big place and it would take too long to look at all the exhibits they have. I visited the Ancient Egyptian exhibit primarily because I find some of their artwork fascinating and very interesting. More specifically, I have always found their tombs interesting and many times I’ve wondered how they created their pyramids. In addition, I also looked at the huge collection of European paintings and sculptures, and as a bonus there was a Rodin exhibition being held. I saw some of his creations and learned a bit about him. Overall, my experience at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was great and I definitely recommend anyone to go there and looking at some of the most well known art pieces in the world.
