This is me performing my poem at Baruch Voices. Surprisingly, I was selected by my FRO class to recite a poem that I wrote in about 30 minutes. However, the experience was great. I got to hear all the different performances from my freshmen class. My poem was more of a comical one that hurt a few but made most of the audience laugh after I performed it. I was first hesitant about performing the poem but I ended up doing it to give the stressed students from Baruch a nice laugh. I also got a free moleskin notebook that I haven’t touched since I received it but it’s because I want it to be useful rather than doodling all over it. In all seriousness, I’d like to thank my FRO class and mentors for this opportunity. Public speaking isn’t really my thing, but I enjoyed performing at Baruch Voices.
