I went to the Majors and Minors fair and I learned a lot there that is going to help me for my major in the future. I am still currently between finance and accounting and it is very difficult for me to choose which one that I want to choose. After going to this fair I got great information on both of these majors and nowI have more knowledge on both of these majors. I still do not know which one I want to pick, but going to this fair opened my eyes and made me think about different things for my future when I get out of college. There are going to be different job opportunities depending on which one I pick.

I went to a workshop with Chris called The V’s of self presentation. At this workshop we learned many things that are going to help us in the future especially during interviews. We learned the best ways to present ourselves no matter where we are and it was a great experience.We learned todo this in a visual way and a vocal way as well. Presenting yourself is everything especially when going on a interview to try and get the job you want. With this workshop it helped me feel more confident when having to meet with someone for an interview. It helped us to prepare for the future and I am now a lot more confident getting ready to go on more interviews. This will hopefully will help me to succeed in getting the job of my dreams.

For my first blog post I did not know I needed a selfie at the club so I have an email confirmation instead. Absolute Adrenaline was an awesome club and was a great way for me to make new friends going into Baruch. It really helps to see how far you can go and how intense you can get with other people around you. In this club you go paint balling, rock climbing, and a bunch of other crazy activities as well. People do things together even not in the club, last year a lot of people planned a car pool and all went skiing together which seems like a lot of fun and something I am interested in. The leader of the club seemed really experienced and new exactly what was going on. I recommend this club to anybody who likes playing sports or even if you just want to go and make new friends because most of the people there were new freshman just like all of us. I plan to do these activities with some of the people I have met so far and I am excited to see what else is planned for this club in the future.
