This past Thursday, I attended the Majors and Minors Fair. There I had the opportunity to meet people who specialize in the major I am currently interested in, International Business, and was able to ask them as many questions as I could think of about my major. They were awesome with giving me info about the different job opportunities I can achieve, and also pointed me in the right direction when discussing how to choose my minor. They also told me how to make an appointment with the Starr Career Development Center when I have more questions or if I need assistance in finding internships or jobs. Overall I had a great time at the Majors and Minors Fair because it made me less stressed about my future after seeing how helpful the Baruch staff is, and I also got a better understanding of my major.

Museum of Modern Art
Over the weekend I took the time to go to the Museum of Modern Art with a few friends! By far, my two favorite pieces were Dan Flavin’s “untitled (to the innovator of Wheeling Peachblow)” and Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” I love the colors and light both artworks give off. They provide a sense of tranquility (something that I could certainly use on a day off) and imagination. I would definitely go back, especially because it’s free for students!
