I attended the STARR career event about getting jobs at start up companies. At the event I learned how to potentially get a job at a start up. I learned about the potential benefits of working for start ups and about the expected work load of working at a start up. The most beneficial part of the event was hearing the stories of the two presenters that told about their experiences in a fully developed company and working at start ups. By hearing about start ups and their experiences I learned that start up work isn’t for me, as interesting as it sound its not something I would want to be doing after I get my degree. Also I couldn’t take a picture of myself since I went alone and i selfie seemed to disrespectful.
