Freshman Seminar Fall 17 EWA

Hillel at Baruch

I have recently started attending the Hillel at Baruch program. This is a Jewish program open to anyone and is about attracting all Jews, religious or not. It is a place where people can discuss their backgrounds and what it means for them personally to be a Jew. It is very interesting to hear what other people have to say about where they came from and what being Jewish means to them. There are always different events going on at the Hillel. Today was about Jews of Russian heritage, so they played a game where each person was asked humorous questions about being a Russian Jew. The Hillel also provides food.

  1. Daniel, I am so glad that the club was so welcoming to you! I hope that you continue to keep going to this program because it will make your transition into Baruch a lot more smoother and you have people that you can relate to as well and most importantly they fed you!
