Major and Minor Fair

My friends and I went to the Majors and Minor fair to get an idea of what field we want to do when we choose our careers and such. We always have conversations about what we want to major in/ what we find interesting but going to the major and minor fair cut it down to a few majors that I am considering (even though i am still undecided). I definitely want to do something with sociology/anthropology so it was very informal looking at what classes those departments offered. The major and minor fair also opened my eyes to majors that I was not aware of/ had no ideas what classes they offered. Overall this was very helpful and I intend on using information I found in this fair to help make my decision!

The Met

My friends and I went to the Met for a history extra credit assignment. It was very fun and a good experience because we got to do a typical New Yorker thing and we also got to know each other better. The Met is very big and super confusing. We got lost for half an hour and had to ask five people where the exhibit we came for was.  After we viewed the exhibit for our history project we explored and saw other exhibits. They were all very beautiful and interesting. After that my friends and I got food and we walked around the city!

There was no food

Hi I’m Maleeha and my friends and I went to the Model UN general info session. It was fun doing cute icebreakers like getting in order by the number of siblings and getting in alphabetical order but to be honest after convocation icebreakers trigger me. Anyways as you can tell by the title there was no food but I guess it didn’t matter because the meeting was very informative and discussed about the work ethic and dedication needed for Model UN and the process to apply. I wanted to join at first because I thought that the club can help me improve on my public speaking skills but now I’m not sure if this is the right club for me. Tough luck.
