I was nominated to attend Baruch Voices by my FRO class. Going into it, I was a bit nervous but I had support from friends who came to watch. There was a bigger audience than I thought. The other nominees had great performances and I was able to improve my own presentation skills through this event. I was a bit shaky in the beginning of my performance but it faded away quickly after a few seconds and it turned out fine. I stayed until the end because there were interesting monologues that other people performed. It was a great experience which allowed me to not only perform in front of a large audience but also allowed me learn from my peers.

The Career Fair
For our final group assignments my friends and I attended a Career fair on Thursday, November 9 th. We attended it to learn about the potential careers for our major. The experience was extremely rewarding. We learned about the high employment rates for graduates at Baruch. It motivated me to continue trying because the outcome will benefit me in the long run. I really enjoyed attending the fair.
Majors/Minor fair
I attended the minors/majors fair this Thursday. Although I declared myself as a marketing major, I’m still unsure as to what I would wanna study. So attending the fair was very helpful. At the fair there were many people willing to help me and there were many flyers that were handed out informing me on what the majors were about. The people were informative and told me what classes correlated with what major. I’m still confused and unsure about I want to do with my life but it was nice to see that I have many options and choices here.
