Coming into Baruch, I knew very little people. All the friends I knew from this school, had class really late so I wasn’t exactly able to chill with them. I decided that if I wanted to meet new people and put myself out there, I should look for a club and be active in school. I actually stumbled upon UCLA when there was a club fair and I actually bumped into one of my middle school friends there. She was the VP and asked me to join and wholeheartedly accepted.
So far, I’ve attended all of their events and I’ve been really engaged in their club activities. The people there are extremely welcoming and I can definitely see myself getting along with them. It was during the second GIM where I actually decided to volunteer for a game and because of that, I got to meet a lot of the VPs and people in the club. I really like this club so far because it offers me something to do during my free time and people to socialize with.
