VSA GIM# 2

I wasn’t sure about which club I wanted to go to at first. But at convocation, I saw a lot of different clubs. One of the first people I was talked to was the president from VSA. I went with a friend that had recently gone to their GIM# 1. When we sat down, a couple of people from the board came up to us and they were very friendly. All of the members were extremely outgoing and tried to get to know new people. The meeting was mostly talking about what VSA was and the different events. I found the events to be really interesting and something I would want to go to. One of the events was Pho night. I thought it would be really fun since that’s where everyone can talk outside a school setting. The games were interesting as well. One game was “find your family.” We were given an animal and had to find others with the same animal by using the noise made by that animal. It was a fun idea, even though it just turned out to be a lot of random noises. The rest of the games were mostly getting to know everyone. It was nice to see there were people that were sophomores and juniors as well. I felt overall, VSA was a club that I would be serious in pursuing because of the great atmosphere and people.
