This past week, I attended the Majors and Minors far at Baruch College. It was a fun learning experience and I learned a lot. I was told about the requirements as of classes I needed to take to set my path towards an accountant. I was given an explanation about the CPA exam and potential things I can do in the summer to help make me stand out from others. I also learned that I can potentially minor in field of Computer Information Systems. I was told it would help, since the rise of technology and the use of it in the accounting work field is increasing day by day. I was told it wouldn’t hurt and I was given a class pathway for this minor as well. I also learned that you can double minor, but not minor in the business field only. This was a very exciting event and I learned a lot and they helped me become more prepared of whats to come.
