  1. An outer obstacle that stands between me and my success in college is alot of  homework that is due in a small amount of time.
  2. People besides me who could help me overcome this outer obstacle are counselor,  and the instructors.
  3. How these people could help me is by giving me extra time and helping me throughout the problems that I have questions on, etc.
  4. An inner obstacle that stands between me and my success in college is stressing out and anxious about everything regarding school.
  5. People besides me who could help me overcome this inner obstacle is friends, counselor, and family members.
  6. How this person could help me is by giving me advices, options that will guide me through my issues, getting a different perspective on what should I do on my situation.
  7. The most challenging course I’m taking in college this semester is quite a few, but I would have to say my math then English class.
  8. This course is challenging for me because of the amount of work and some of the difficult topics we learn in that class and in english class is the quality work I give in papers.
  9. Someone besides me who could help me overcome this challenge is the instructors.
  10. How this person could help me is by motivating me and telling me the specific critiques on my work since they see how I behave in class and see my personality.

B.  Two choices that I  could make a create a stronger support system for myself in college are procrastination, and not reviewing my work.  Personally I believe I have to be the one to fix my procrastination problem and simultaneously put the time I need to review my work. Besides myself, I guess instructors and friends can help me with that.  Some choices that I could make to overcome these obstacles and challenges to my success are putting more time into my work, not waiting for the last minute. Mainly just making time. Time is a big key to my issues.

  2. Some personal qualities that would help me achieve this goal are I am persistent, hardworking, intelligent, responsible, reliable, organized and friendly.
  3. Three qualities that seem the most essential for me to achieve my goal as a student are hardworking, persistent, and organized.
  4. A. I am a hardworking, persistent, organized woman.B. I am a hardworking, persistent, organized woman, making my dreams to reality.   C. I am a hardworking, persistent, organized woman, and I am learning to love myself.
  5.  My preferred affirmation to myself is that I am a hardworking, persistent, organized woman, and I am learning to love myself.
  6. -The first quality from my affirmation is hardworking. A specific experience in my life when I demonstrated that quality was when I came to New York from Haiti and worked so hard when I had to do homework or exams because I didn’t understand the language and all of this hard work got met to where I am right now.-The second quality from my affirmation is persistence. A specific experience in my life when I demonstrated that quality was every summer I used to spend my vacation in the U.S and I didn’t completely understand English but there were certain shows that I enjoyed watching so I kept watching those shows that I just enjoyed seeing the images and the actors and the more I did that, the more I got to understand the show.
  7. The third quality from my affirmation is organized. A specific experience in my life when I demonstrated that quality was since childhood that I was always taught to be organized or even I got that quality from seeing how things are need to be done. Having a little schedule of the things that need to be complete and checking them off at the end of the day is rewarding to me.

11) I went to a party
12) I showered
13) I made breakfast
14) I made some errands for my mother\
15) I took out the garbage

B+C) Quadrant I (Important and urgent)- I studied (2 hrs), did homework (2 hrs), sleeping (8 hours), showering (30 mins), running errands for my mother (15 mins),
Quadrant II (Important and not urgent)- Doing homework that’s due in a week (1hr), cleaned my house (45 mins), eating (30-45 mins), making breakfast (20 mins), took out the garbage (less than 5 mins)
Quadrant III (Not important and urgent)- Checking my social media every hour, went to the parade (2 hrs), went to party (4 hrs),
Quadrant IV (Not important and not urgent)- Watching T.V for hours (3 hrs), went to a restaurant (2hrs), talked to an old friend (hours after hours),

D) After analyzing my time, I discovered that I can do more important things than waist my time on not so necessary things such as hanging out with friends as much and on the phone. I spend more time on important and not urgent (quadrant II) and important and urgent (quadrant I). Some specific evidence that I used to draw this conclusion is the amount of things and hours that is spent in that specific quadrant. I need to reevaluate where I spend more of my time then once I do, I do believe I will reach my goal. I would friends and distractions keep me away from taking purposeful actions. I feel that my discoveries will help me throughout my year, knowing which quadrant I need to work will help me in the long run.
