IC: I got an F in my Theatre quiz. The teacher wants me to fail, she hates me

IG: I should go speak to her and ask her what steps I should take to increase my average.

IC: I failed my driving test because my instructor was mean and she wanted to make me nervous.

IG: I should’ve practiced more a d I should take steps to become better for next time.

IC: I suck at math, I should have never applied to this school. Maybe I should change my dream career.

IG: I need to find a tutor to get better at math. I should also speak to my counselor on how to get back on track.

IC: I have failed my last two exams on Anthropology, the teacher must hate me.

IG: Maybe I’m not studying enough and maybe a study group will help.

IC: I can’t deal with college it’s too hard for me.

IG: I should go talk to my counselor to get some advice how to survive in college.

IC: My boss screamed at me yesterday, I think I’m not good for that job anymore.

IG: My boss could’ve been having a bad day and he didn’t mean to scream at me.

I don’t think that college is the right place for me to be right now. Maybe in a few years I can come back. I’ll have more experience and knowledge and be more motivated.

IC: No one else in my immediate family has finished college so how can I.

IG: My mom has given me the tools and I have resources at my hand to help me finish college.

IC: College isn’t for me because it takes too much time and I could be working now instead.

IG: I’ll do the work now and push through because in a few years all my hard work will pay off. This time and money is an investment into my future.

IC: I didn’t expect college to be so difficult. I don’t have the endurance to keep going.

IG: This is a good challenge for me. Life is full of challenges and I am learning how to conquer them now.

I’ve been doing all of my assignments last minute.

IC: I’ll do my english paper the night before.

IG: Instead of doing my paper last minute, I’m going to do it a week before so i can have time to complete it.

IC: I can’t pass this math exam, I’ll just do better on the next one.

IG: Instead of failing the exam, I’m going to study so I can pass.

IC: I’m not going to take biology because I’m not smart enough.

IG: Instead of not taking biology, I’m going to take it and try my best in the course.

IC: Why should I even study? I don’t know the material, I’m just going to give up.
IG: If I don’t understand something, I need to work even harder to try and understand the topics in class.

IC: I’m dumb, I don’t know what I’m doing in college.
IG: I belong in college and I’m going to work hard to ensure myself a better future.

IC: I’m going to fail this test, it’s to hard of a topic.
IG: I’m going to stop making excuses, study, and get a good grade on the exam.

IC : I am not good at math so I will fail this Pre Calc course.

IG: There’s tutoring on Saturdays and after school, if I come a few times maybe that will help

IC: I am behind in my history homework, why keep trying if most likely I will not get a good grade in the class.

IG: Setting different dates to catch up on the class will help me to do good on the final exam.

IC: The job I applied to never called me, my lack of experience won’t open any doors for me

IG: I will keep on applying to various more jobs until an opportunity shows up. I can’t give up.

i’ve been stressing the large ammount of work i have to do.

I’ve been stressing over an upcoming math test.

 

IC: I’m going to fail because I was asleep in class

IG: I was indeed asleep, so I’ll sacrifice sleep now to study and do well.

 

IC: I did really well on my first two tests I’ll just take the L on this one.

IG: I did well on my first two tests so I’ll work hard to ensure I keep doing well.

 

IC: I’ll just cheat on the test.

IG: It’s not worth the consequence; I’d rather just try my best and work harder from here on out. ( said no one ever )

I keep procrastinating and don’t make any effort to change.

IC: I’ll complete my homework the day that it’s due.

IG: I’ll complete my homework long before it’s due.

 

IC: I’m never going to change, I should go to ICDC college instead.

IG: I’ll change, first by being more organized.

 

IC: If I fail a test, I’ll do better on the next.

IG: I’ll make sure not to fail any tests at all.

IC: You are going to fail this final.

IG: With enough tutoring and help from others, you can pass with a good grade.

 

IC: I am a lazy student.

IG: While I may have not been on top of my things, I can reorganize my schedule to put my studies as a priority for the next few days.

 

IC: I don’t have enough friends that may help me with my studies for my final.

IG: While I may not know a lot of people, there are many people over at SACC that will be able to help me study the topics i am having trouble with. With their help, I will be able to pass my final with a good score.
