Hi Guys,
My experience in the last three months has been mixed. While i really like the people i meet here and new york’s a great place to live im a bit depressed with my life so far. The more time goes by the more exhausted i get. im really looking forward to summer break and explore the city. Unfortunately i spend way too much time in the library because i dont have internet at home. Furthermore because i spend so much time around baruch i hardly have time to cook and im forced to eat the crappy food you can find around the vertical campus. Mikes pizza is only a dollar a slice but it takes like it. Hopefully i will be able to find a nice place to stay before next semester starts so i can relax at home and dont have to stay at the library until 9 pm each night. I have problems balancing the workload and end up doing a lot for some classes and nothing whatsoever for other classes. Theater classes for example requires so much reading that sometimes i dont have time to do my math homework each night. Besides that the whole technical stuff is killing me. i still have no clue what cunyfirst is or how to choose classes for next semester. im fully aware that thats my own mistake but i just found it very hard lately to focus. Nevertheless im very optimistic about next semester because i have a better idea right now how to handle the workload and organize my daily schedule.
best regards
Michael 🙂
