International Business Club
The International Business Club is back and ready to make its mark once again!
As a cornerstone of professional development, this club collaborates closely with the Weissman Center for International Business. Its mission is to empower students to pursue careers in the diverse spheres of international business—including the private, public, and nonprofit sectors—while promoting cultural connectivity on a global scale.
Though primarily aimed at students majoring in International Business, the club welcomes anyone interested in exploring global career opportunities or expanding their cultural and business knowledge.

Over the past year, the club has orchestrated several successful events, such as:
• A co-sponsored event with the Women in Business club
• Study abroad informational and networking sessions
• Cultural potlucks featuring international cuisine
A highlight from last year was the ‘Career Talks @ WCIB’ event in November, which provided invaluable insights and networking opportunities to students. Alumni who attended are:
- Jahsion Jnobaptiste, Senior Manager of Global Customs Broker Procurement and Management, Wayfair
- Anshul Tuteja, Fleet Optimization, Global Marine Operations, Royal Caribbean Group
- Barry Lavery, AVP Europe, Hydrogen, Renewables and Decarbonization, ReNew

The event was moderated by Briana Carchi, President of the Baruch International Business Club.
Looking ahead, the club is gearing up for more exciting activities. Notably, the International Business Conference, scheduled for this November in collaboration with the Masters of International Affairs (MIA) Club, promises to be a flagship event. It will offer networking opportunities and workshops designed to enhance professional skills and industry knowledge. Furthermore, the club is partnering with Queens College and the Fashion Institute of Technology to assist in the planning of World Trade Week, held annually at Baruch College
Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to engage in a year full of learning, networking, and growth with the International Business Club!
