Transgender Day of Remembrance is Nov. 20th. In honor of all the anti-transgender violence deaths, glaad came up with #transweek, a week long event from Nov. 14 – Nov. 20 to remember and educate schools, community centers, and hold public events at parks in hopes to bring awareness to all the wrongful deaths and inform people about what it means to be transgender.

Schools, places of worship, and community centers can reach out to this organization directly and they will bring local transgender advocates or LGBTQ organizations in to host workshops and events to educate the public.
