Legal Issues

Just like books themselves, the publishing industry can have just as many word-filled lawsuits and legal issues as one could imagine, while most can concern things like copyright infringement, and intellectual property. There is even more than one person can list. the number of all these problems makes it very apparent why many an author has to keep an attorney well-versed in these topics on retainer. An attorney serves as the voice of the author’s wishes alongside the publishing house or goes against the publishing house and the general public if it is necessary for the author’s wishes. In any case, legal drama is hardly scarce.
