In this time period, technology is growing. We all constantly have our computers, iphones, and ipods out. We use them for everything: homework, work, entertainment. Most people think most of the world’s teenage population are behind this computer incline, but it seems that might not be the case. Apparently, in many countries the adults are more inclined to use technology than children. Obviously, places like Africa or low income countries use and have less technology than the U.S. or it’s other 1st world counter parts. There seems to be a gap, though not a new one, when it comes to technology between classes. As anyone can guess, the more money you make, the more you’re going to be able to spend on the fancy new product updates. It makes sense that places like Korea and America would have more tech savy kids than other places. In the article, it states that many 15-24 year olds in poorer countries don’t match up nearly as high as North Americans do with the need for technological speed.
Though, this seems like pretty common sense.
