For this project, when making my sketches I didn’t realize that I wasn’t creating new ideas, I was just making variations of the same idea. After re-doing my sketches and thinking more I was able to come up with many more ideas for my project. While working in Indesign I was also able to come up with even more. I decided to use Century Expanded for my type because I thought it worked best with my quote about adventure. While working with the text I really wanted to make Passion and Adventure the first words you saw when looking at my project. I really thought that was important because they help convey what the image is about. I also thought that mirroring the image was a great idea because you can get a better sense of adventure. From the project, I learned that you don’t always come up with your best ideas on the first try, and that you need to try try again. I also learned that taking risks and stepping out of your comfort zone can help you come up with so many great and new ideas.
