Michael Stevens

This project was incredibly eye-opening for me. The process of progressively making my idea come to life helped me realize that art can be found anywhere and can be expressed in any way. Starting from just a photo and quote I was able to communicate the meaning behind my work in a simple, yet effective way. As I continued designing, I focussed on making subtle changes to produce fascinating aspects with significant meanings. Also, I made numerous designs varying in placement of the photo and quote. In the end, I was torn between 3 designs. After careful consideration, I chose one of my first designs because of it’s simplicity and captivity.

Some things I learned along the way of creating this project are going to be very helpful for me in the upcoming designs and projects I will be woking with in this class. I familiarized myself with new commands in InDesign and worked with Photoshop. I enjoyed working on this project and hope there will be others like this one.
