Students in Britain Are Drawn to U.S. Colleges

Students are coming from overseas, specifically Britain, to take advantage of what America has to offer; education. Since university fees over there were free up until 1998, the new fees have raised significantly. There have been many fairs that talk about the application process to American universities and also the benefits of going to American universities. These fairs usually had no one in attendance but this years  U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission’s American college fair had over 5,000 people in attendance. Not only do students have to compete with other students nationwide for space in colleges, but international students as well.
