Price Of Life at Baruch College

From October 1-12, our campus was buzzing about the issue of human trafficking. This modern day slavery is an extremely real and present in our society today. Contrary to popular belief, slavery does not only exsist in third world countries; it exsits all around us in the greatest city in the world, New York.  These slaves are sometimes captured at the very young age of ten years old or even younger. These young children are inable to attend school while they are captured. They lose every aspect of their freedom, including their education.
