The Lost Clues

Herman Melville’s Clues:

  • Abortion-inducing herbal pills that are most likely Japanese in origin. Probably useless, but you never know.
  • The initials “A.F.” The paper they’re written on matches the scroll we found title “Assertive High Writ.” Are these Julianna’s real initials?
  • The aforementioned “Assertive High Writ” scroll. The phrase “Stop Questioning!” is written on it in red ink. Perhaps this will have something to do with the way we need to approach our final confrontation with Julianna.

Franz Kafka’s Clues:

  • A dead snake. Clearly a fake clue thrown in to scare whoever found it.
  • An old pair of scissors with a few strands of blond hair stuck to it. The more I look at them, the more the hair reminds me of someone I’ve seen in the House.
  • I can’t help but wonder why there were ten authors chosen for this game. Is that a moot point, or is there some significance attached to it?
