After reading the article and comparing the variety of definitions for “innovation,” I found the definition that resonated with me most was, “the fundamental way the company brings constant value to their customers business or life and consequently their shareholders and stakeholders.” I connected with this definition because I agree with the idea that innovation is the process of creating value for your customers and shareholders/ stakeholders alike. It comes down to what the innovation is regarding. For example, a company can be innovating their products which brings more value to the customer. Whereas, the company can also be innovating their methods and processes within the business to deliver their products or services more efficiently, which would create value for the customers and shareholders/stakeholders.
