  1. Yes, the case for seriousness is sufficient—9 million forced to leave their home and 3.8 million displaced refugees is a crisis. Plus, the odds of these numbers being on the low side makes it an even larger crisis. Also, what’s astonishing to me is that of the 10 million refugees worldwide only 1% qualify for the UNHCR.

    The last option, where the Arab League takes a more active role, is what I see as working, but I’m still undecided.

    I would like to have an idea of what was done in a past refugee crisis of this size? We’re any solutions successful? I’m just curious. I will research too. Based on the numbers, it appears the effective solutions are difficult to come by.
