ACT: SHAZAT: Hi my name is Shazat, I am a first-year student in Baruch College. Studying… um… my program is Master of Public Administration

TRACK: Shazat had been researching a lot while talking to his friends and family to find a perfect college for him to pursue his master’s degree. After he had done several research on CUNY colleges, he finally decided what college he is going to choose.

ACT: SHAZAT: I did some research on Baruch’s semester’s program and also, I was doing some research online I realized that Baruch’s program is a good program for the money that it cost. And You know my cousin goes there so that was on the plus.

TRACK: Shazat further elaborates on his experience while transferring from John Jay to Baruch college as a graduate student.

ACT: SHAZAT: I just graduated from John Jay last July or August, one of those two. Yeah so, I finished my degree at Baruch… Um… John Jay I mean, and I am going to Baruch.

TRACK: Shazat further explains what kind of job he is doing to help his career in the field of Public Affairs and Administration.

ACT: SHAZAT: I am trying to work in policy and currently I work for a PR firm, and I am trying to start as… well my position is public affairs trainee. So basically, I am trying to become an associate at their company.

TRACK: Even though Shazat’s program is two years, it might take him longer than two years as he had been busy with Job full time while attending college part time. He further explains the circumstances that could cause the delay for the completion of his program for the master’s degree.

ACT: SHAZAT: So, my program lasts two years but I think its going to take longer because since I am working full time now. I am not going to go to class for full time so that’s going to drag my program longer.
