Printing Accounts for Summer Students
Students enrolled in either summer session have a printing balance of $30. Today, there have been problems with some students unable to access their printing accounts; send them to the Help Desk on the 6th floor with a copy of their bursar’s receipt showing their enrollment in a class this session so the staff there can fix their account problem.
REVISED June 6 Reference Desk Schedule

BPL 5100 team building exercise
Several students in a BPL 5100 class came by the reference desk tonight. As part of a team building exercise, they have numerous items to locate, including a magazine with a page 36. It didn’t seem that a print out would be acceptable, although I didn’t inquire directly. I had a supply of old magazines in my office that satisfied the need. Some students had expected to be able to take a magazine out of the library. One inquired about ripping out the needed page, which was of course strongly discouraged. There may be other requests for a page 36 so I thought I would post this information.

The Economist no longer available via LexisNexis
Per an announcement this morning from LexisNexis, The Economist is not longer available in LexisNexis, effective immediately. It is available in these other places (the LexisNexis entry should go away as soon as Serials Solutions updates its knowledge base).
Graphing Calculators Due Back May 27
Students who have borrowed graphing calculators for the entire spring semester must return them by 6:30 pm on Friday, May 27. Late fees of $5 per day will be charged for any calculators returned after that date.
Printers Down
I just talked to the help desk, and was told that the printers in the library will be down for the next few hours. There is one printer that works near the stand-up terminals, otherwise students will have to go to the sixth floor for printing.
