How to Dress for your Apple Shape
Apple shapes tend to have larger upper bodies than lower bodies. They have broad shoulders a full chest, and a wide back. Apple shaped women carry most of their weight at their midsection. If this sounds like you then your an apple shaped women.
1. The idea here is to wear tops that draw the attention away from the negative area the midsection and to the positive area being your full chest.
Rule #1 Do not wear a form fitting top, I repeat do not wear a form fitting top. This will show off you midsection is a unflattering way. Instead try a shirts with an empire waist that are form fitting around the bust but flow out to hide the midsection which can be the problem area.
Rule #2 Play with your necklines V-necks look great on an apple figure, because again it accentuates the bust.
Rule # 3 Jackets, look for jackets that are v-shaped with buttons just below the bust
Rule #4 Look for longer shirts because these will make you appear leaner and again hide the midsection
2. Balance out your body by between your larger top and skinner bottom.
Rule #1 Look for wider pants avoid skinny jeans, because this will make your body seem out of balance.
Rule #2 Capris are your friends and are a great way to show of your slender calfs and ankles in the summer months.
Rule # 3 When it comes to skirts try ones that hit just below the knee, again it will make you look less top heavy. Plus a neat idea is to try a high waisted empire skirt because that will hide your midsection area, and make you appear slimmer.
Rule #4 Now if you wanna feel flirty, feminine, and fun try out a high waisted circle skirt.
3.Since apple have great legs they need to rock it with the footwear.
Rule # 1 Wearing chunky heels can help balance you out and make you look less top heavy
Rule #2 Of course f you have great legs, “flaunt them” and wear some cute strappy sandals or wedges, or better yet put on a pair of those killer stilettos that have been dying to come out of your closet.

How to dress to suit that Hour Glass!
Women who have hourglass bodies, are curvy and often think that they should try to hide those curves by wearing unfitted cloths that does not do their body justice. An hour glass shape needs to be wearing fitted cloths that shows of their god given curves. How do you determine if you are an Hour Glass. Hour glass shapes have a tiny waist and their hips and bust are proportionately 10 inches larger than their waists. With the right clothing you’ll be dressing to enhance those curves, and feeling more confident than ever.
1. Step one show of your waist. The is your best asset and must be accentuate. Try using belts or a dress that is fitted at the waist.
2. Step two foundation first. Since hourglass figures are well endowed in the bust area, they must choose a well fitting bra, that will provide you with the much needed support on top, and will leave you feeling polished and put together on top.
3. Step three wear a V-neck or Scoop-neck Top. Both of these styles slim the neck and chest and make you appear smaller on top, wearing a boatneck, turtle neck, or cap sleeves will make you appear more top heavy.
4. Peplum is your friend. It will minimize your bust area while accentuating your small waist.
How to dress to flaunt that pear shape:
Pear shapes have narrow shoulders, tiny waist, and large hips that are usually ten inches wider then their waists. This is one of the most common shapes for females of the four shapes: pear, apple, banana, and hour glass.
So the goal here is to draw the attention away from your bottom half, so you don’t look bottom heavy.
1.An easy way to do this is by wearing darker solid colored bottoms such as: dark jeans or pencil and a lined skirts paired with a bright or patterned colored top and interesting scarf. This will take the focus away from your larger bottom half.
2.Wear simple bottoms that are fitted without weird pocket, pleats or accents, because those draw attention to areas that might be problematic making you appear larger then you are.
3.Make use of a nice long blazer that goes just past your hips, this will create nice lean lines and will cover your hip area .
4.Play with neckline to show of your nice bone structure and to again draw attention to your top half.
5.Since you are keeping it simple on the bottom you can experiment with off the shoulder tops, ruffles, puffy sleeves, and sequins to again draw the attention to your top area.
6. Make sure that when you wear belts that they fit around your waist, the skinniest part of your body, because wearing a belt around your hips will look unsightly.
Taylor Swift stylizes her god given lean body, to accentuate her feminity
Taylor Swift is naturally tall at 5 ’11”, the gorgeous blond country singer dresses to flaunt her best assets. Her body shape is rectangular, which means she is banana shaped. In order to emphasize her waist and girlish figure she wears a lot of dresses the synch at the waist to define her body.
Here the singer is wearing a creme gown, at the David Jones 26th ARIA in 2012. The gown synches at the waist, to give her body definition and the appearance of a rounder more curvy body.
Here Taylor wore a blue mermaid style gown to the VMA’s , again the synched waist and long dress hugs her body, and gives her lean shape definition.
Taylor was photographed at the Clave Davis Event wearing much shorter dresses that emphasize her lean long legs, but the also synches at the waist giving her more definition. The circle skirt style again gives a more curvy appearance.
The common thread here is that since Taylor is rectangular shaped whether she wear short or long dresses, the waist is always tailored to add more definition.
So if your body is rectangular/banana shaped like Taylor you should look for dresses the synch at the waist, or wear high waited skirts with tucked in shirt and belts. Try to avoid dresses that have no definition or shape, because it will leave you feeling un-confident and feeling like you are wearing a box. The goal is to dress to compliment your shape, and you will feel confident and positive just like Taylor Swift.
